Origin Works
Film. Print. Voice. AI.
A creative studio developing original film, television, and literary projects from script to screen.
Origin Works is an independent studio focused on creating and packaging character-driven stories across film, television, publishing, and emerging media. We develop original intellectual property, produce proof-of-concept content, and collaborate with producers, directors, and talent to bring projects into production.
Founded by award-winning screenwriter, filmmaker, and retired U.S. Army Special Forces veteran Steven B. Newman, Origin Works was built at the intersection of story, technology, and emotional truth—developing original films, books, and AI-assisted cinematic experiences rooted in myth, history, and humanity.
